I used to have vid.me as an alternative place for the videos, but they closed down...

what are the best free youtube alternatives?

ideally, they will have the feature of taking videos from youtube link without the need to upload them again. that was ideal for me because with my slow internet it takes up a week to upload a single video...

Here's a list. I don't know very much about these services though:

1. https://clipbucket.com

2. https://www.bitchute.com (Good for Free Speech)

3. https://gab.ai/tv (Good for Free Speech)

4. https://pewtube.com

5. https://vimeo.com (Maybe not so good. Same politics as YouTube.)

6. https://www.youphptube.com ("Totally integrated function with Youtube, letting you sync your videos with Youtube")

7. https://www.liveleak.com

8. https://www.vidlii.com

9. http://www.dailymotion.com/us

10. http://allmyvideos.net

11. https://tapview.tv

12. https://streamable.com

13. https://d.tube (Good for Free Speech)

Here is an uploader which can upload simultaneously with 700+ sites for videos, pictures, and File. Might be some ideas on thier list of video hosts. http://z-o-o-m.eu
ok.ru hosts videos available to the public, I do not know file size limit.
Vk.com hosts video but you must have an account.
Telegram is good for posting up to 1.5gb again must have an account. Google drive is good for saving files. Yandex disk may also be able to save video.

But still prefer youtube over any other simply because youtube is readily available in many playforms such TV, Media Players, etc. without the need of any Laptop/PC connected. Besides that youtube have excellent integration between Mobile and TV where we can switch easily between each other.

Besides this all the major Telco Operators in my country provide a Free Youtube internet data with any package that you choose so you can watch it in your mobile without guzzling your internet data quota... 👍

With so much content in youtube I dont feel the need for other service...
